Hi all!

I'm here to try to get some help with my problem...

I've got an Aspire M3461 but I've changed something (Changed Motherboard, VGA and added an IDE disk)

I've got a Snow Leopard DVD, Leo4All v3 Final and iDeneb 1.4 and I've tried them all with a lot of BIOS tweaking (according to the big number of guides that I've followed during the past days)

Those are my results :

1) Snow Leopard + ##### loads up succesfully but I can't use my PS/2 keyboard and the USB mouse does not click so I can't get past the "choose language" screen

2) Leo4All starts loading but after a while it says something about a RAID diski service and it shuts down

3) iDeneb hangs on the well known "Still waiting for root device" message

I've tried them with all the external hardware unplugged and with just the IDE disk (disconnetting the SATA one)

I really don't know what else to try so I'm asking you for some advice that can guide me through this setup!

I'm attaching my Everest Report so you can have a clear (I'm putting it between CODEBOX tags so it's easier to read he topic!)

Hope to get some reply !

EDIT:

In the preview CODEBOX has automatic new line but in the topic view it has not so I've got to use a no paste to avoid the "destruction" of the layout!

And sorry for the report's language...My Everest is in Italian! If there's something that you don't understand just let me know!

Dude, try with a usb keyboard. WHen I installed hackos on my laptop it only worked with usb keyboard. And post your hardware configuration, since you said you've changed something...

And you might try installing 10.5.x, or eve 10.4.x versions, they're more compatible with old hardware

Read the first post..There's a link to the Everest report (with my configuration inside) ;)

Do you think that using a usb keyboard will also solve the problems with the mouse?

It's strange because I'm sure that my distros have full PS/2 support !
