The problem: Basically, I plug the external dvd drive in a spare usb port, put the ideneb DVD in, and turn the pc on. When the system boots from the DVD, i press any key to go to the installation. A few things load on that page, and then advances to the grey apple boot screen where i get a kernel panic message... I have tried 4 distributions and i get same message on each one.. I have taken photos of each error message. See below... iatkos v7 iDeneb 1.5 iDeneb 1.4 iPC OSX86 10.5.6 Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!! Thanks in advance, -Frozty

epete
I have the same machine. I used the "Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd" install and it worked. Just burned the DVD and it booted right up no problem. Didn't even have to use a separate boot DVD. My problem is the Ethernet isn't working - JMC261 Also, sound isn't working - IDT92HD81 If you find fixes, let me know. Also I plan to test the "iATKOS_S3_v2" version to see if that gives me better results.

I have a similar system (Jetway JBC600C99-52W with Atom D525 and Nvidia ION 2 - IDs show Nvidia GT218 rev A2 or smth. like that) and have had errors regarding my cpu not being recognized :pirate2: If there was a solution to that, I'd love to hear it. (I've already tried disabling HT off in BIOS and/or cpus=1 to no avail) Thanks
