Hi,

I installed Snow Leopard 10.6.4 on my HP Workstation 4600 without any problems. Sound and Graphic works perfectly and the USB too.

The only problem is when clicking on shutdown he always reboots the PC (The same if clicking on restart, it restarts.)

Any solution to solve the problem, so that I do not have to power off after restart?

Thx for you help....

Okay I upgraded to the latest version, but the problem persists ;)

Any other idea ?

Just installing it is not enough. Follow the instructions given in the release thread to set up native Power Management.

You can find some tips here as well: http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?...ost&p=10065

Power Management is directly related to shut down and restart and getting it working might help fix your issues.

Of course this will only work if your PC has an Intel CPU and it's running the Vanilla kernel. But you didn't post any specs so..

Always post specs when asking for help - there are give or take 7 people on here who are familiar with the "HP Workstation 4600" and they are probably not reading this thread.
