mikebasilico
I'm looking to build a 2.8 Ghz Core i7 machine with 8gb DDR3 ram, and 1gb DDR5 Video, bluetooth, and firewire with stock OSX. I'm a professional video editor and graphic designer, so I need Final Cut Studio, Cinema 4D, and the whole CS5 suite to run as well as on a real Mac. I want to be able to update software directly from Apple (Software Update). I don't want the thing deciding to die on me when I have several thousands of dollars in client work in there. Essentially I want a real Mac, is that possible? If so can anyone help compile a parts list? I own 2 Macs already, I just want a REAL workhorse, it has nothing to do with cutting corners or being cheap. Thanks for the help, I have searched the forums, I just can't find anything as up to date/high end as I want. I'm totally new to building and Hackintoshing, so I need some guidance. CS5, Cinema 4d are no big deal FCP goes deep into system architecture, little failures make great effort here, especially graphics rendering with 2 cards. So are you saying it would be better just to get a real Mac?
