I'm looking to build a 2.8 Ghz Core i7 machine with 8gb DDR3 ram, and 1gb DDR5 Video, bluetooth, and firewire with stock OSX.

I'm a professional video editor and graphic designer, so I need Final Cut Studio, Cinema 4D, and the whole CS5 suite to run as well as on a real Mac.

I want to be able to update software directly from Apple (Software Update). I don't want the thing deciding to die on me when I have several thousands of dollars in client work in there.

Essentially I want a real Mac, is that possible? If so can anyone help compile a parts list?

I own 2 Macs already, I just want a REAL workhorse, it has nothing to do with cutting corners or being cheap.

Thanks for the help, I have searched the forums, I just can't find anything as up to date/high end as I want. I'm totally new to building and Hackintoshing, so I need some guidance.

Thank you, I'll peek through that. I searched around, but there is way to many posts so it is difficult to catch them all.

CS5, Cinema 4d are no big deal

FCP goes deep into system architecture, little failures make great effort here, especially graphics rendering with 2 cards.
