toyotascionxd
I have this setup 1. Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 2. Core I5-750 intel processor (not overclocked) 3. Microsoft Comfort Keyboard and mouse 5000 (wireless) 4. Sapphire ATI HD 4670 1GB DDR3 5. 4GB GSkills DDR3 ram 6. Seagate 1.5 TB I have tried every installer from empire EFI to #####. I always get kernel errors and never get to the part where I can install the software. The language screen does not come up. I typed -x already and it does not do anyting. I followed all the settings needed for my cmos settings. I also have a retail dvd snow leopard 10.6.3 upgrade dvd. I don't know what's causing this thing. Is my graphic card not compatible with hackintosh? I've decided to give up and just reinstall windows 7. my2cents
Have you tried arch=i386 I have not worked with your set up, but this avoids most crashes for me on Atom set ups that I toy with. You could also try arch=i386 -x Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/235052-hackintosh-installation-failure/#findComment-1568769 Share on other sites

toyotascionxd
I've already tried everything you guys said. Thanks anyway. The problem could be the video card. I just plan to buy a used macbook pro next year thanks. slann303
Don't want to dig up old posts, but I might help you out if you still want to put that beautiful OS on your (probably) Windows infested PC. But first let me ask you: did you try to boot with an USB stick? I had the same problem like you had when I wanted to install SL and also Lion. Every bootloader that I put on a USB stick caused a KP. I then simply used a BootCD I found on the internet (from Kakewalk for RC4 and from someone else, can't remember who, for RC5) and voila, I could boot and install without a KP. If you still have your PC lying around and want to install OS X on it, just find a preconfigured BootCD with chameleon (minimum RC5 v760 for Lion). Good luck!
