Okay, so this is my 3rd hackint0sh build:

EP45T UD3P

Intel Core2Quad processor

750Watt PSU

1x 500GB HDD 1x 80 GB HDD (have tried booting only with one)

Nvidea 9800GTX+

PIONEER Blu-ray/DVD drive (SATA)

So; I can't get it to boot: the 500GB hard drive has previously had Snow Leopard on; however I am trying to do a clean install. I think I have messed up in the BIOS settings somewhere, so could someone please tell me the settings; when I do boot with -v it says "Still waiting for root device".

Please help? :D

Make sure the HDD is plugged into the ICH10 SATA controller and that ICH10 is set to AHCI mode in the BIOS.

Refer to your motherboard manual to see which plugs on the motherboard belong to which controller and where to enable AHCI mode.

Thanks for the help but...:

Turns out the idiot you sold this board via eBay, sold a different board and stuck a label over the model number; got money back by a PayPal claim!
