toyotascionxd
I have a Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 mobo and a core I5-750 processor. I did not overclock this. I went to this website. http://www.infoomatic.com/guide-install-ma...ow-leopard.html. Unfortunately I was not successful in installing the mac os on my pc. Just to let you know. I don't have a retail copy of mac osx. I downloaded a copy from demonoid.com. Tony mac informed me that I should get a retail version. So I bought one from ebay and it would arrive early next week. I have several questions before I proceed again with the installation 1. On the bios setup. I should select cd rom as the first boot option. In the integrated peripherals menu I should set PCH SAtA control mode and ESATA control mode to AHCI instead of IDE. Under power management I should select put HPET mode into 64bit. These are the correct settings right? 2. I don't know which loader should I use. Should I use Iatkos 7, ##### ATI, ##### Supported (Vanilla install), Empire EFI. Which among the four is easy to use? 3. I have a 1.5 TB Seagate Hard drive. When I get to the part that I have to partition my hard drive. Can I just make two partitions one for MAC OSX and the other partition would be just an empty space? Do I need to install win7 on the second partition. Do I really need to partition? I prefer using only one hard drive. 4. MAC OSX 10.6.3 comes with imovie and iphoto right? Thanks. I'll be waiting for your replies.
minoli
I have a similar board, the UP4A and been trying to install Snow Leopard on it. So far I could only get to the 'Select language' screen. My mouse and keyboard won't work. So I couldn't do much. Anyone have any idea? Thanks in advance.
