iamNTS
Is there an actual good source to see where I can find up to date KEXT files? I've search many forums and a lot of users have compiled their own for their own use and www.kext.com seems very scattered.

iamNTS
What are you looking for? Please be more specific. Just a general website to show you up to date KEXT files. Maybe even revision history. www.kexts.com is very bloated and isn't organized well. darwinx86.com is just as worse. The reason why I'm asking is because I have a nForce 680i chipset motherboard and I use the nForceLAN.kext and ApplenForceATA.kext There is active development for the nForceLAN on this forum so I was able to find an up to date version of that easily but the ApplenForceATA.kext is scattered. There is version 1.0.3 then there are forks from users that is version 1.0.4. It seems like the ApplenForceATA.kext is just a fork of the AppleVIAATA.kext but I'm not 100% positive on this. Think about what you can do to contribute instead of complaining about a free service. Since you now know where to find the extensions you were looking for, I'm sure the maintainers of those sites would be happy to receive your submissions.
