GeForce GT240 and ALC662

Ok guys, I really need a kext for my GeForce GT 240 please .

I tried all the kexts that i found in internet and its very laggy yet.

My model is: eVga Geforce GT 240 1GB DDR3 (not GDDR)

 

My sound card it's not working the Mic input, i don't know why but in Leopard it was perfect, everything working perfect, including front panel out and front mic.

Im using Snow leopard in x64 and my mobo is P5LD2-X

 

Please help me because im very noob in that hacks like that taruga's patch. A kext upload would be great.

Try Myhack 1.14 , i have the same Video card and works 100% with graphics enabler= yes . it uses rc5 boot loader

Could you be so kind as to write me a step by step method of how you installed it? I have the same card, but when I use GraphicsEnabler=yes it has no effect whatsoever. But when I use NVEnabler (NVEnabler::probe failed), it always fails, giving me a black screen on boot.

First , install MYHACK 1.14 , install everything, BUT dont install Graphics Disabler,Chocolate kernel and Apple ps2. then in [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] 2.30 , ONLY install System utilities, and in advanced options> kexts> audio > legacy 889/ HDA enavler ALC889 / Apple HDA Rollback . So u need to download MYHACK 1.14 and [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] 2.30 , thats it. Ahh, you need also OSX 10.6.4 . i have this set up in my Hack and works more than excellent with no DSDT , a have 2 monitors hooked to DVI and HDMI.

Hello..., same problem here...

Video Nvidia GT240 Zogis 512MB ddr3

I usued to have a 7300GS and it worked great, now I dont have that one...

 

I try with several distros from 10.4.8 10.5.8 10.6.2 10.6.3 and dont get futher...., also tried with NVenable and wothout it..., and GraphicsEnabler=Yes at boot and in installation from iatk os s3v2 10.6.3 but no luck...

 

also tried option: -v -f and -x and GraphicsEnabler=Yes and "Graphics Mode"="1074x768x32" and "Graphics Mode"="800x600x32"

 

...no luck !

 

Could you tell me what distro is best for this video card... ?

or Should I bought another one ?

 

by the way dont get to find that myhack 1.14 or SnowLeopard 10.6.4 nor how to use [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] with that blackscreen
