GA-X58A-UD3R rev 1.0 BIOS F5, i7 950, Corsair Dominator 6GB.

10.6.2 retail installed via Kakewalk 2.2 and upgraded to the latest Chameleon 2 RC5.

Alright, when i enable EIST function in BIOS the Geekbench scores are normal but the board starts making ringing noises as described on Gigabyte forums right here. With EIST disabled and native power management enabled i get very low Geekbench scores as in the first pic, and with EIST disabled and NullCPU installed i get a score of i7 920 instead of 950.

EIST enabled with native power management:

EIST enabled with NullCPUPowermanagement:

@XLR

Bummer about whining.

I noticed the same with geekbench so I disabled all throttled or speedsteping, Turbo and stuck in the NullCPU... powermanagment in E/E and WHAM geek was hitting 12200+ @ 3.8GHz i920 although my ram is not the fastest @16000mhz with T2 should be a lot better with much faster timing's on the ram but hey 2 years old. RAM was a ripoff back then.
