Gringo Vermelho
Oh ok sorry.. I saw your "from" and it says Brazil so I thought that you were brazialian xD My name should indicate that I'm not. What did you mean by that? Which "new patched kernel"? I mean the kernel we've been talking about in this thread since page 1. You remind me of that fish in "Finding Nemo". Gringo Vermelho
I am going to download the vanilla kernel test it out.. :censored2: LOL no...you already have the vanilla kernel. It's a hidden file at the root of your drive, named "mach_kernel". It was updated when you installed the 10.6.4 update. Your system is not using it because it's set to load a different kernel named "custom" in your com.apple.Boot.plist. If you want to try the vanilla kernel, either change your com.apple.Boot.plist accordingly, or if you just want to quickly see if you can run it at all, reboot and type kernel=mach_kernel at the boot prompt. If you want to use the newer, patched kernel that we're talking about in this thread, download it (you posted the link yourself earlier, post#23), name it "custom" and copy it to the root of your drive, replacing the one you have there already. Clear now?
