If possible I hope Gounah or anyone, if you could please write me an installation guide on step by step based on my pc specs below on how to get my Mac OSx succesfully done installing on my PC. DjayMc
It's ok, don say sorry. Ya I remembered coz I followed the instruction from a user named Gounah coz he is also suggestion the steps for people who is using Asus Maximus II Formula motherboard. Ok, here are the list of kexts I've choosen.. -Unselect Chameleon v2 then select Chameleon v1 -Select SMBIOS-EFI under “SMBIOS drivers/SMBIOS Enablers” -Select x86 ACPI under “ACPI” -Select Natit under “VGA/nVidia/Enablers” and nVidia GT200 under“VGA/nVidia/” (THIS ONE I DID NOT SELECT NATIT, I SELECTED ATI coz I'm using ATI. This is the only option I changed) -Select AHCI, Intel SATA/IDE and VIA SATA/IDE under “System/SATA/IDE” -Select the two packages under “Intel Speedstep” -Unselect Voodoo HDA driver under “Sound” -Select Marvell Yukon 88E8056 under “Network/Wired/Marvell” Thank you Cura. cura
ok, for my personal experience i believe is better to select less things and then, when we will arrive to desktop, try to adjust all the settings. Try to select just: chamaleon1 acpi drivers appledecrypt disabler ohr (openhaltrestart) remove tymce (or remove thermal kext) ahci are you using a ps2 mouse/keyboard? if yes select also voodoo ps2, if you have usb keyboard mouse then select nothing. DjayMc
OK guys, latest updates. I had just successfully done installing iATKOS v7 10.5.7 on my pc system. I have sound. I have graphic. But I'm stil facing only a few problems after successfully installed. Somebody pls advise and guide me on solutions to solve this problems all. My mouse cursor and keyboard keys are jerkings every 2 seconds... that means for example if I move my mouse cursor from the left screen to right, it will suddenly stop while moving and then continue back but jerk to another place. I also have problem with internet networking. My network seems to only found FireWire in network windows pane. No ethernet or lan was found. I had tried installing both marvell driver but also don't seems to work. And another thing is I found out that my processor was just detected as 2.83 GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 (1 Core only ???). My Graphics Card was detected as ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 (1 Core only ???) That's about it. Ok, the kext and things that I had selected to made me successfully installed the mac os on my pc system is at the pictures that I attached in this post. Also there's some pictures informations for my verbose mode, my processor, graphic card and my networks. Oh ya, 1 more problem is I always had to type "cpus=1" each time I boot up my mac from bootloader. Why ??? People and experts out there please help me............. Hangten
Your one core on a x2 graphics card is normal, I'm very sure in your case thats all you will be able to use. iATKOS v7 10.5.7 I'm not familiar with sense I don't use. What Chameleon are you using? This works for SL 10.6 but never tried on !0.5.7. The thing you need to understand is some kext's can't run 64bit and your running a 32bit OS X so unless its both 32/64 then you need to have either SL.10.6.x at minimum to use some hardware Also, do you have the DSDT for you motherboard? If not you need to make one. Simply follow this guide This goes in the E/E folder to identify your CPU CPUInjector.kext.zip Edited October 17, 2010 by Hangten

Hangten
Yes, got that, considering we may not be in the same time zone? List your Kext's seems your missing some in your Extra/Extensions folder. I was pretty sure you have an intel p45 chipset so it can't be that hard, except that graphics card might not want to play nice. You can place or delete kext's in your Extra/Extensions from transmac or macdrive easily. Permissions are not affected. You can not do this in the S/L/E (Systems/Library/Extensions) so don't. If you want you can use the terminal and do it manually by booting -s mode. Google search insanelymac to find out how, I rarely do it off the top of my head.
