Blue screen help needed.

I'm looking for some advice on how to change the graphics kexts in single user mode after an upgrade from a working Leo4All 10.5.2 install to 10.5.8.

I used the AMD patching utility to patch the Apple upgrade. After patching and initial reboot the system worked with no issues. The graphics reverted back to 1024 x 780, I chaged the resolution and on reboot the system blue screens just before log in.

I am looking to either:

1) restore from a time machine backup if possible from single user mode, or

2) Replace the updated graphics kexts with the ones on my installation disks.

All help gratefully received. Thanks
