EDID for AL1916W

Hi All,

 

I'm trying to use the Callisto patch to get the custom res working on my OS x86 install. However, I cannot get the Monitor EDID from Windows because Windows just identifies my monitor as 'Default Monitor' with no other information.

 

If anyone can tell me how to get Windows to recognise it, or get me the EDID for this monitor I'd be v. greatful

Allright it seems I managed to get 1440x900 running without the EDID but it now seems like QE and CI have become disabled Gona do a bit of searching unless someone can save me the trouble

Are there drivers for your monitor in Windows that you can install? Then Windows should be able to tell you the EDID.

Thanks for the drivers, Windows dosen't seem to think they are for my monitor however so I forced windows to install them, but MonInfo still does not show me hardware info (just says n/a) although my monitor now has a name other than 'Default Monitor'.

 

I think I've managed to get Castillo working with QE/CI just having a few GUI problems.
