Sn1pest3r
I have a big problem, the first one is about the HDD that is not shown in disk utility no matter what it is (leo or snow leo), (retail version, ideneb iatkos), the second one is about booting from dvd, for some reason, iatkos v7 s2 burned on dvd doesn't boot (still waiting for root device error) but i tryed to restore the image on an usb stick (using mac installed on vmware) and booting with -v mach_kernel worked, so i can't understand what's the problem, but what pisses me off is the damn HDD, no version recognizes it, it's SATA so i shouldn't have problems with it, it's Western Digital WD3200AAJS, some help? 3.14r2
The problem probably is in the disk controller of the motherboard. Though I don't know the hardware... And do a forum search with "still waiting for root device".
