A Nonny Moose Posted August 1, 2006 Share Posted August 1, 2006 Did you know that OS X server will punch right through your firewalls in an attempt to find duplicate serial numbers? If you have more than one of the same serial, the server kills one. The bright side? You can temporarily disable port 626, but the server will realize this and punch through it to find the duplicate serial numbers. A sly victory against stealing, but I wonder how many legit users will be hit by this demon?
