Yes, just put it in E/E, repair permissions and rebuild kext cache in E/E, and there you go
xmen107
I also confirm, yesterday i bought a pci card TP-LINK TL-WN551G, and did not need the Atheros.Fix, i just added string "pci168c,1a" to /S/L/E/IO80211Family.kext/ C/PlugIns/AirPortAtheros.kext/C/Info.plist for 32bit, and AirPortAtheros21.kext for 64bit. I repair the permissions with disk utility and kext utility At the next reboot worked fine. I'm on the 10.6.7 version of Snow Leopard with a 3.4GHz Pentium D 945 and Asus P5VD2-MX SE. Thank you all for the tips. Tested in version 32 bit distro by Hazard and also in the retail version. Sorry my english. There is my IO80211Family.Kext IO80211Family.zip

My wifi card was responsed in 10.10 yosemite, but anyway it can't find any wireless network and the diode light on the card is not working. I'm stuck on this((( tried to install AtherosWifiinjector.kext and AtherosFix.kext, and also tried to install AtherosFix.kext into IO80211Family.kext/Contents/Plugins/ Unfortunately nothing helped....
