If you're running Snow Leopard and it hasn't happened to you yet, then it won't happen.

 

Some motherboards don't have this issue with Snow Leopard.

Why would you want to do that?

 

just in case of problem with the pc (caused by snow leopard cmos reset).

 

It's true to remove the cmos battery to remedy the problem?

 

I want to explain: I want to install snow leopard but I'm afraid about cmos reset becouse i've heard that the pc in this case won't turn on...

You prevent CMOS reset with a DSDT.aml patched for RTC

I have the snow hazard cd, just check in system support -> CMOS_reset_fix ?

 

 

I don't know hazard (i install only retail), but this choice may be a DSDT.aml patched.
