The kexts are or in /System/Library/Extensions or in /Extra/Extensions

To delete a kext drag it in the trash (then repair permissions with kextutility)

Th bootloader try only to load the kexts in /Extra/Extensions, nothing other. (and the SMBIOS.plist and DSDT.aml that are in /Extra).

Don't touch the bootloader.

Yes, you can edit DSDT.aml, but is not a easy work. In my opinion the best program is DSDTSE http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=220964 (escuse for italian).

You can delete the kext all the times that you want; important is repair permissions every time with kextutility.

The kexts loaded are in: System Profiler/extensions
