guyin916 Posted September 9, 2010 Share Posted September 9, 2010 I finally get around to replacing my ep45-ud3r with a ep45-ud3p so i can get 2 pci-e x16 slots (okay, one at x8) so i can put in my areca 1220 card to raid 4 ssd's. i used the [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] cd and a storebought 10.6.3 dvd. the array shows up, but i get an error message when trying to create a partition, saying this: "Posix reported an input/output error" or something along the lines of that when trying to partition/format. what's going on here? i tried to take 4 of my 8 gigs of ram out thinking that might be the problem...
