update 10.6.3 -> 10.6.4 iATKOS s3, good news

Hi, I've just installed IATKOS S3 10.6.3, and I 've launch software update (original apple update software)... that soon update my system to 10.6.4, and the unexpected thing that it works!

 

So if you are using iAtkos s3 you can update, and is it stable?

I'd like to use it for programming so I need it stable...

V2 S3 uses the vanilla kernel, it is stable.. I did have to kill a KEXT or two but the update works great..

i was also able to use software update on a GA P55 UD3R without any problems

I had no problems updating to 10.6.4 on my S3 v2 install. I did have a slight problem with the graphic update that is applied after 10.6.4 though, but that was something dumb on my end.

Out of the 5 times ive installed SL and updated 3 times i got kernal panic..my wireless is still not working so i dropped back to Leopard and am now on 10.5.8..unfortunately..still no wireless..
