byovic Posted September 10, 2010 Share Posted September 10, 2010 im trying to install leopard on my ibook g4, i know it is capable of running leopard but can i remote install via the .dmg on my hackintosh and install it on my ibook and if so how do i do this i fought for endless hours. ended up using an external hd kit on my ide drive. partitioning it 30 and 10 to allow the install files on one side then the larger partition for the os. you have to tweak the osinstall package if you are in my boat. 384 ram 800mhz. put the hd back in and then select the second volume to boot and install. all other methods failed for me.
