sanjeevneo
I've Just Updated to 10.6.4 from 10.6.2 with Legacy Kernel...So far so good. I HAVE XFX HD 4650 with two dvi port and one TV out and my Monitor has VGA port so my setup is VGA to VGA then VGA TO DVI dongle on the Card Side... However, when I added my Graphic Cards Device ID into the kexts ATI4600controller and ATIx2000 with the Graphics Enabler to Y. With "EVOEnabler" No display tried Different Ports. Without "EVOEnabler" Corrupted Display Should I invest in New Cable

This blank screen threadf was very useful for me. This one's a old Card I 've got TWO DVI Connectors and one TV Out in The middle In the Thread the only thing which I've'nt tried was the EFI Studio Device Add. But There is no HD 4650 in EFI Studio So How to add the Device.... will DVI to DVI and DVI To VGA Dongle on the monitor side will make any difference

Nor do I know if there is an issue with DVI/vga output The Blank Screen (after updating to 10.6.2 or10.6.3/10.6.4) issue experienced by many is due to having a tv connected to the dvi output on the card, via a dvi/hdmi dongle. Just having the dongle connected ( with no tv hdmi connected), is not an issue. The dongle itself is not the issue but plugging in the hdmi cable is an issue. Just whatever you try to get your card working with OS10.6.4, do it without the tv connected. errandwolfe
I would suggest you take a look at this thread (and the others mentioned in the conversation). The 4650 (and most especially the 1Gb version) is EXTREMELY finicky. You will need a combination of the proper kexts depending on which boot loader (PC-EFI, Chameleon RC4, Asere) you use. Also unless you have the 512 Mb version of the card you can pretty much forget about dual screen support, no one with a 1 Gb card has gotten functional dual displays, hardware mirror seems to be the best you can hope for. Radeon 4650 - 10.6.4 - Still no dual screen, Maybe an EFI boot string? http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...=221342&hl= ATI Radeon HD 4650 Dual Displays?, I got QE/CI working, but not dual monitors http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...=228140&hl=
