tonyGriggs Posted September 5, 2010 Share Posted September 5, 2010 Hi, all...I have audio working out the green port on the mobo (through the internal speakers option in the preferences), but nothing I've been able to do is getting me my front headphone jack working. I've recently upgraded to the FB16 BIOS which gets me some sort of low-volume pulsing pops (they repeat, so it's not dirt or grounding noise) but that's it. Here's the contents of my E/E folder: EvOreboot.kext fakesmc.kext IOAHCKBlockStorageInjector.kext IONetowrkingFamily.kext JMicron36xATA.kext JMicron36xeATA.kext JMicron36xSATA.kext Legacy889HDA.kext LegacyAppleRTC.kext NullCPUPowerManagement.kext I also have a modified AppleHDA.kext in my S/L/E (although I'dbe hard-pressed at this point to say where that came from). Any suggestions? And if you see anything in that list that look wrong for my config, I'd be fine hearing that, too. Are you using the DSDT that nullspot provided in the X58A-UD3R 'support group' thread? In my S/L/E I've got the modified (rollback, I believe) AppleHDA.kext, but somewhere along the way I think I was instructed to remove the HDAEnabler.kext. And you're running LegacyHDA.kext, not Legacy889HDA.kext?
