clemfon
Hello, there's a page in the osx86 wiki, which shows you the supported hardware. I don't know if it's allowed to post a link, but I simply do it: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.6.2 Good luck, Clemens
Gringo Vermelho
You can't install an OS if you don't have a CPU.. The P5Q-E is an excellent Hackintosh mobo. It can run unmodified retail OS X with just a little DSDT editing, fakesmc and a few legacy kexts. There are several guides for P5Q series boards around the forum, use the search or google. You need SuperVIAATA.kext if you have any drives connected to the on-board Marvell PATA controller. On-board AD2000B sound works with VoodooHDA but there are other solutions as well. Marvell 88E8056 works with a LegacyAppleYukon2.kext, the 88E8001 with skge.kext. ICH10R is supported, use legacy AHCI kexts that come with the Chameleon bootloader. In the BIOS, enable all advanced CPU features except CPU ID Limit, set SATA to AHCI mode, enable ACPI 2.0 and ACPI APIC. I recommend you use Chameleon 2.0 RC5, more info and latest SVN version is available in this thread: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=225766 Kast: Antec Twelve Hundred Koeling: Coolermaster Hyper Z6000 Voeding: RealPower M 700W The Antec case will work, but unfortunately for you there are no OS X drivers for your fan or Power Supply.
