JuzzMann Posted July 31, 2006 Share Posted July 31, 2006 Hello everyone, I am trying to install 10.4.5(dvd) on my computer, everything goes well until the actual installation starts, it gets up to where it says writing files, once it finishes, an error comes and says that there were errors during installation, please restart and install again. Rammjet Posted August 1, 2006 Share Posted August 1, 2006 I'm not familiar with the 10.4.5 disk, but when you get to the screen where you click "Install", there usually is another button (on the bottom left) that says "Customize". JuzzMann Posted August 1, 2006 Author Share Posted August 1, 2006 hello, thanks for your reply yes, i have clicked the button that says customize and i tried to install the patches without anything else, i also tried to install without selcting anything but nothing is working can some please help me. also, my setup is a wd 120gb HD as master with windows XP as my primary partition and a logical partition on which i would like to install 10.4.5 and as slave i have a sony dvd writer both drives are on the same cable note that this setup has worked for me with 10.4.1 thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
