Hello everybody!

I got a successful iATKOS S3 v2 Install; everything is perfect except my graphics...Since leopard ONLY CoreVidia 1.1(http://www.mediafire.com/?dmmnqkzw4cz) worked for me. NVDarwin/EFI Strings/NVInject/Natit didn't work( on leopard ). As CoreVidia 1.1 only works on 32 bit mode, I tried getting x64 graphics for a perfect x64 install. So, I downloaded the UPDATED x64 kexts and installed them but for some reason the ones that are backward compatible with x86 only work on x86 and not x64. EX: i downloaded Natit x86_x64 from that windows skydrive site but it only works on x86.

PS: I removed CoreVidia doing these tests. After I did EFI strings again it bricked my Snow Leopard Boot(x64 only) and just hangs on the blue screen. x86 works fine booting in

So ALL IN ALL: is there anyway, or someone has an idea how i can get my graphics card working with snow leopard on x64 mode?

EDIT: Forgot to say I have a Nvidia Geforce 7600 GT and that NVInject 0.2.2(x64_x86) enabled Quartz Extreme and showed it in system profiler but the top apple bar was stuck on being on the color white and non-transparent & SilentNatit(from Windows SkyDrive site) had quartz extreme but was not listed in system profiler and had the non-transparent bar on the top. Both these kexts allowed me to put up full resolutions too.

You can't.

The problem is not the injecton method, it's the drivers themselves that are 32-bit only.

Thank you for the thread!

But I don't understand they are listed as x64 bit drivers?? or are they mis-labeled?

#2: Does that mean I would have to buy an upgraded video card?

I'm not a psychic, I don't know which drivers you are talking about or where you got them from.

Yes, if you want to run Snow Leopard in full 64-bit drivers and kernel mode, you need to buy a new video card.

Before you spend money on a new video card, please read the whole thread that I linked to, read everything.
