crisj73 Posted August 29, 2010 Share Posted August 29, 2010 I have tried this guide and followed this exactly, but after install finishes and first boot, the startup hangs at the grey screen with the apple logo. No spinning indicator. I restart with the boot option -v and the process hangs at "Starting Darwin x86_64". My hardware is very close to the guide's spec (Core i5 M450, 4gb ram, Win 7 x64 host, VirtualBox 3.2.8) Any idea what could be the problem? gsw953 Posted August 29, 2010 Share Posted August 29, 2010 I just finished installing iAtkos s3 v2 on Virtualbox using Takwing's guide.If your using a Distro use his Leopard guide .That's what I used,work first time. crisj73 Posted August 29, 2010 Author Share Posted August 29, 2010 For those interested: I have now got this working. iAtkos S3 V2 works great with the least amount of issues. I only had to additionally first boot the EmpireEFI 10.6.3 Legacy iso and then install Nawcom's 10.6.3 Legacy kernel.
