scratch178
hi i have a sony vaio VPC-F11S1E Motherboard: Intel® PM55 Express Chipset Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-720QM @ 1,60 GHz Ram: 6 GB DDR3 SDRAM Graphic: 1 GB NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 330M GPU Sound: Realtek High definition Audio Wireless: Intel Centrino Advanced-N-6200 AGN i a newbie in the hackintosh world and im amazed about the thought about having os x on my laptop. but i'm not sure which version i should take for my system. i tried the iatkos s3 v2 but when select f8 and press the iatkos s3 v2 text is running down the screen and i see the apple logo for a second and then the laptop shuts down and reboots, i also tried to -v and then iaktos but i had the same result i also tried leo4all v3 but the resolution cant be changed it is set to 1024x768, but thats not so bad. my problem is that the sound and my wireless isnt working. After i installed leo4all i wasnt able to reboot windows 7, i tried to fix it with the repair cd but it didnt work. So i installed win 7 again. Is there a way to prevent that i have to reinstall win 7? Can somebody tell me which version is the best for my system? thx scratch
Alessandro17
Try again with iATKOS S3, but boot with: -v cpus=1 busratio=12 You should be able to fix Windows 7 with the repair cd. Did you try bootrec/FixMbr ? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927392 P.S. Congratulations for your very accurate description of your problem, with all the necessary info. Alessandro17
The answer should be very simple. Unfortunately you need to keep booting with cpus=1 busratio=12 But if you update to 10.6.4 and install the legacy kernel, you shouldn't need that any longer: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=221599 Try and let me know how it goes. Important. Delete SleepEnabler before updating.
