Q6600 someone told me can't load power profile:s

okies someone told me that q6600 can't load power profiles because it's a cpu series that apple never used. This is strange. A. my Allendale c2d4300 is recognized as a conroe (which the q6600 is) , But more important what effects does that have on a hackintosh build. I mean I would like to upgrade to a quad-core and I always OC (my 1.8ghz cpu is right now is at 3ghz and I'mma gonna push it further when I resolve some cooling problems

the question here is what effect would that have during regular operation?
