How about HD icons colour

Did you get orange HD icons. There was a fix in most Leopard 1.5.x installations.

But none that I know of in Iatkos V3.

 

Otherwise it works like a charm on my GA-P45-UD3R.

 

But I wonder if anyone knows where the iconfix (utility ?, driver ?)

can be found.

There is a kext somewhere that fixes this; I think its named IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector.kext.

 

A more elegant solution (but not everyone's cup of tea) is to fix this problem in your DSDT:

That link has a solution from Master Chief that worked great on my Gigabyte motherboard.

 

EDIT: From what I understand this is purely cosmetic; having orange icons doesn't mean anything is incorrect. But I agree, it is nicer to have the "aluminum" icons.
