samaul Posted July 30, 2006 Share Posted July 30, 2006 HI~Could anyone tell wht is the problems , everytime after bootup from my OSX DVD, loading in a OSX Apple logo with white background, i have waited for 15 mins ago, but still loading in that screen, and the loading bar on below are still runing, just shown more small "Stop" logo on the top of apple,and there are the Hardware Report of my Computer.Thanks a lot and Sorry for reading my broken eng,. chevy2410 Posted July 30, 2006 Share Posted July 30, 2006 When you boot the install DVD press F8 and then type -v. This will boot in verboose mode and then you can find out what is causing then error or errors. Make sure if you're using IDE drives that they are both on the primary master IDE channel, one as master and the other as slave. Hope this helps. samaul Posted July 31, 2006 Author Share Posted July 31, 2006 Thanks a lot and I'm using SATA harddisk, but i have tired to typed -v with bootup , but waiting for a long time in "Still waiting for root device" and nothing?
