external
A previous member but somehow my account is no longer associated with my email... I'm looking for a new system board which will support a fairly flawless install and interoperability with Snow. The NBus fan is failing on this board and I just don't feel like replacing it, AND that I had problems with installing Leopard with this config... assuming the problem is the NVIDIA bus: Current setup: Motherboard EVGA nForce 750i SLI (Socket 775) CPU Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40GHz Socket 775 LGA Revision G0 Kentsfield 65nm Technology RAM Part Number OCZ2P10662G Part Number OCZ2P10662G Graphics GeForce 9800 GT GPU G92 Hard Drives CRUCIAL_ CT64M225 SCSI Disk Device (actually, wasn't using SSD on Snow... this is a new drive) Suggestions on a new motherboard (sysboard) preferably Intel ICH10/ICH10R 775 Socket T? Thanks!
Gringo Vermelho
Gigabyte EP45/43 UD3L series, ASUS P5Q/-E/Pro. I heard some MSI P45/ICH10 boards are very compatible as well.
external
Thanks for the suggestions. I forgot to mention i've been looking at BOXDP45SG... any input on this or other sysboards Gringo Vermelho is speaking of? I'd like to stay with the P45 if possible.
