Hagar Posted October 1, 2005 Share Posted October 1, 2005 Not Yet AFAIK there isn't currently any working sound input on an alc860, If anyone *has* sound input with an alc860.. I'd love to know what you did. If you want to try, reading the threads on here about HD Audio and alc860 & 880 might be a good place to start. Best of Luck... arsenalsam7 Posted October 3, 2005 Share Posted October 3, 2005 i have that sound codec on my 915gvwb and it would work and not work, it would not stay functional, so i put in an older pci sound card with the cmedia 8738 codec and i get stereo sound at least....i haven't tested the input now back to my on-board sound...during some of my os installs, i would get sound and like after the next reboot, sound is gone Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
