errandwolfe
Here is my quandry....I need a dual-display setup. I currently have an Intel 945 board with onboard GMA950. I know I could add an ADD2 card, the problem is that is only DVI digital out. Problem is I can not afford a DVI-D monitor. Would it be possible to add a PCI card (not PCI-E) to the system and have OS X recognize it as a secondary display? I would not expect CI/QE on the secondary display. Has anyone attempted this? Were you successful or not? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/22899-dual-display-gma950-and-pci-card/ Share on other sites
Joe Jackson
I have added an old Matrox PCI Card (Mystique 4mb i believe) to my System. The card works fine - no qe/ci of course - on it's own. But running it together with the onboard gma950 wont work. System hangs when i try to activate the mystique's monitor. I tried making the gma950 secondary too, but no luck...
