iChat Crashing on JaS 10.4.6 and 10.4.7

[pereiragd]

iChat crashing. Latest updates, permissions repaired, and prebindings updated. Don't know why. Also, all apps are universal except the java 1.3.1 plug-in settings.

 

Please help. I posted my computer on the wiki as all internal hardware worked when i loaded it.

You go to the directory /System/Library/Extensions and drag to the Trash all kexts that start with "ATI".

 

Then go to the directory /System/Library and drag the following to the Trash: Extensions.mkext and Extensions.kextcache

 

Then reboot.
