gameace99
Hi all, I am new to the Hackintosh "experience" and after trying o so many times, have finally gotten most of the way there. I prepared a flash drive on a mac, with Snow Leopard 10.6.2, chameleon version 4, and all the other files necessary. After FINALLY (I had tried iDeneb and iAtkos many times) getting to the installation and starting the install on my Asus P6t6 gtx 260 machine, I ended up waiting literally a full day and a half for the installation to complete. When it finished, I booted, and was left with the spinning wheel apple screen thing that kept spinning. I proceeded to boot into single user and verbose mode and was given this:

Singleuser boot -- fsck not done

Root device is mounted read-only

If you want to make modification to files:

/sbin/fsck -fy

/sbin/mount -uw /

If you wish to boot the system:

exit

I typed exit, and all it said was:

:/root# exit

logout

I am tired and frustrated after all this work, and someone please help me? I would greatly appreciate it Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/228305-slow-installation-booting-error/ Share on other sites
