Put the USB drive's into my Mini 9 as instructed in above tutorial... Changed boot sequence to look for USB first. Screen loaded with Darwin/x86 boot v5.0.132 - Chameleon v2.0-RC3-nbi r... Build date: 2009-12 21:10:54 2038 memory ... visual screen: Mac or Windows... Selected Mac... Gray screen. Apple logo. A few second later: panic(cpu 0 caller 0x2a96f6): "Version mis-match between Kernel and CPU PM"@/SourceCache/xnu/xnu-1504.3.12/osfmk/i386/pmCPU.c:720 Debugger called: <panic> Lots more memory addresses, and apple's multilanguage window: "YOu need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button until it turns off, then press the Power button again." Darin Kernel 10.3.0 Inspiron 910 tried both the 8.3 bootloader @ mechdrew and also the 8.4RC. same error as above Help... Help please!!! inac Posted August 13, 2010 Author Share Posted August 13, 2010 sorry for the large pics... but yes i've tried three different methods (each of them tried two or three times already), and all ended up nowhere. i've spent about three weeks' free time on this already - would really like to get it to work! oops - well, i think what might be wrong is that i am using the wrong netbook loader.. there are lots of different versions out there, so i'm not even sure which one i should use how do you boot in verbose mode? lol i need one picture not all of thisjust boot in verbose mode -v and when panic occur take picture Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have 3 USB Flash drive's.. (8 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB)... I don't have a Mac, so will have to borrow a friend's (could take till end of the month..) Can you write a quick tutorial on what to do once I am on my friend's Mac?
