jake5253
I have a 250GB HDD connected to my system using a Maxtor ATA/133 adapter card in one of my PCIs It works fine on Windows after I got the drivers for it, but the site doesn't offer one for Mac OS X. My question is: does a driver exist for Mac at all, if so, where do I get it? I did a search and found nothing on google, so I thought I'd try asking here because just maybe someone has run into the same thing and found a workaround. Thanks a lot! oiasdas
You dont have a single IDE port on your motherboard? I wouldnt think that you will find the answer you are looking for. Unless the manufacture has created a driver for it, I don't think its one of those drivers that would be included with OS X. jake5253
I already have 2 hard drives conencted to the IDE channel on my motherboard. I MUST have the 2-IDE channel adaptor to add my 3rd hard drive. Are there any PCI-compatable IDE Adaptors that will work with both OS X and Windows XP? or a driver that I can *fudge* to get it to recognize the Maxtor one? thanks. -jake Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/22807-pci-maxtor-ide-adapter/#findComment-151930 Share on other sites
