[Help] Sapphire HD 4550 in 10.6.4..

I have 10.6.4 running on the following:

 

RAM: 4GB DDR2

 

CPU: Intel Pentium Dual Core @ 2.40 GHz

 

HDD: 640GB SATA

(Tri Boot via Chameleon RC4 - Win 7 - Ubuntu - and SL)

 

GFX:

 

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4550, 512MB GDDR3 - monitor plugged in via VGA to DVI adapter. (VGA monitor plugging into DVI port via adapter)

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4550 512MB GDDR3

 

Mainboard: MSI G31TM-P21 - snow leopard was installed using this guide.

 

 

But currently, I don't have QE/CI.

 

Can anyone guide me from here?

I have a perfectly functional system and don't want to mess it up over my GFX card, but at the same time I want the full power

 

 

So if any of you guys can guide me with your knowledge, or if anyone has it working fully QE/CI, then tell me how PLEASE

Hi Krishna21,

You are my master to helping me to install OSX onto my X1700, i am using same card as you and DVI port working fine, not sure QE/CI working fully on my card, see below printscreen.

 

 

1. I am follow this method and working fine on VGA port only.

2. Download PCI EFI 10.6, just copy and replace boot file into root directories, reboot and DVI working fine.
