ibrahim52
Hi, This is my first post on this forum,my name is Ibrahim and i am from UAE. Well after lot of attempts finally i was able to install the iatkos s3 v2 on my lenovo g550 but i had to delete the voodoohda earlier to install the latest updates by snow leopard. Now i have tried installing various kexts of VoodooHDA and AppleHDA but nothing worked so far.I am able to install the kexts through the kext helper and after the reboot i am still not able to get the audio. I tried deleting the .pref file from preferences but nothing worked. Currently if i click on VoodooHDA in system preferences it gives me an error of Can't get registry path. Please i need some help on this, if somebody can According to windows i am having conexant audio. J.B
why did you delete the .pref file? anyway, to test if the kext if active and working, try booting with the flags -v -f if it doesn't kernel panic and you get sound, download and run the pfix utility (google it) on your OSX HD and the sound should work from then on Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/227128-audio-issues-voodoohda-and-applehda/#findComment-1522405 Share on other sites
