nylock10
Here's what I did so far: Downloaded Mac OS X 10.4.6 JaS (will update to 10.4.7) Mounted in DAEMON Tools Started VMWare, for CD/DVD, used drive [F] (DAEMON Tools drive) Started OSX installation Went to disc utility, select the virtual hard drive I made and erased it so I could install OSX on it That's what I've done so far. I might write a guide on how to install 10.4.6 JaS in VMWare after I successfully install. The performance so far is really nice, the mouse is the slightest bit choppy but that doesnt bother me, hardly noticable. Everything is crystal clear, no graphical problems so far. Menus load quickly with ease, thanks to JaS for this release. With this performance, I may not even have to do a Native install, I am very pleased. Much quicker and cleaner then 10.4.1! Install took about 10 minutes from start to finish. So if I can run this on my crappy computer (see specs in signature), then you can too. More news tommorrow. *Edit* Did I post this in the wrong category, since it is about VMWare installation? May someone please move if so, I apologize. Rebooted, got "b0 error". *Another Edit* Found a solution: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph....3D.3D.3D.3D.3D Now using a guide: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Vmware_how_to Well, I thought I could fix "b0 error", but I cannot. I start Hiren's BootCD, but it doesnt even boot to anything. Automaticly starts "b0 error". *Update* I fixed the b0 error! I booted up VMWare, pressed Esc and chose to boot off the CD. I set the HD to active, Mac OS X started. I installed the JaS 10.4.7 update, but it made the computer painfully slow so I just reinstalled 10.4.6, and I'm sticking with that.
