10.6.4 on RAID 0

Hi,

I was wondering about installing my hackintosh on a RAID system. Here is what I thought :

I would install Snow Leopard, install all .kext for my drivers, an a simple HDD. Then I would create a RAID 0 system with disk utility. Then I would clone the HDD from where OS X is installed to the RAID 0 system and boot from it.

Will this work ?

I am thinking of such a complicated installation cause you the RAID card can't be recognized when I boot on the OS X CD to install Snow Leopard.

Make sure your using a RAID card with 10.6 support.

Either create boot132 with your RAID drivers and install direct to RAID or install to a another HDD then use Carbon Copy Cloner or similar to copy install to RAID.
