FreakShow!
Hi, I've managed to install Snow Leopard 10.6.3 on to: i7 920, ASUS P6T (not Deluxe or SE), 6Gb RAM, GTX285. While trying to sort out the sound to work I came across ##### that let me set a lot of other things installing. One of the things that I did was DSDT, which I think is the cause of my problem, but I am not sure. Before I used it, boot-up was very quick, now however it loads to the wallpaper and the spinning multicoloured disc is there and it pauses for a minute. Is there something I can do to see what is holding it up at this point, or is there a known thing that could be causing it? As I say I think it's the DSDT thing, but I am not exactly sure. Also, atm I'm on 10.6.3, is it OK to just update to 10.6.4 with the OSX updater or do all upgrades need to be done unofficially? Thanks for any help FS!
