peplogic1979 Posted July 25, 2010 Share Posted July 25, 2010 Hi, I'm finally running OS X 10.6.4 after going through OS X Snow Leopard 10.6 en PC Hackintosh ASUS P5KPL-AM guide on http://www.taringa.net/posts/mac/4511189/O...S-P5KPL-AM.html with a poor english translation. The thing is I can only load into 10.6 using The Empire EFI 1.085 boot cd. Without that Chameleon 2.0 will load but then I get the following error: Panic(CPU 0 caller 0x2a8ac2): kernel trap at 0x00507bae type 14 page fault registers I've tried setting my BIOS up to a tee but still getting the error, installed all Kexts still getting error Anyone able to help? Hardware: ASUS P5KPL-AM Intel Core 2 Duo 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM 667 MHz Nvidia 7300 GT Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When you get a KP in verbose mode, a list with the contents of the CPU registers and some of last called function's addresses is printed. If the crash happened in a kernel extension, you'll get yet another list with the names of the kexts that successively called into each other until something went wrong.
