domino Posted July 25, 2006 Share Posted July 25, 2006 Ummm, no. the first uses Deamon Tools, windows, and vmware to install Tiger on a physical drive. This was made because a lot of people had trouble installing Tiger using the boot disk. I have always preferred this method since the beginning because it was much faster as opposed to booting off the DVD disk from the bios. The second is also another way to a native install instead you use Acronis. I do not understand that way because I don't rely on 3rd party apps to help me partition or boot my OS. And you have greater chances of things not working the way you planned using a 3rd party application to partition your drives.
