dannymichel
Is it possible to make a backup of my documents and apps on a spare ntfs drive, in a folder on that drive, without formatting that drive? danielkza
You can use OS X's installation DVD to do backups, but not to write to NTFS partitions, so you'd need an external HDD or flash drive formatted as FAT32. But you have to do it through the Terminal. An alternative is using a Linux LiveCD: IIRC, you can read HFS+ partitions and write to NTFS ones, so it should be enough.
