Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5"

PSU:

Ok, back to my point, i was wondering if someone could recommend me a good PCI card to use for my build?

Thanks for your help :P

Hi, I too am looking for an answer to this. I believe the best choice is the Broadcom BCM94321MC mini pci-e card, which you would then have to buy an adaptor for, such as this Link.

This is supposed to work, as the Broadcom BCM94321MC card is the same hardware as is used in one of the past Apple airport cards, so allegedly works natively. But whether it will work in future builds of Snow Leopard is another question.

There are several threads about this topic, it would be nice to finally get a definitive answer.

Thread 1

Thread 2

Then of course there is the question about whether they work in both the 32bit and 64 bit kernals.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for replying so quickly :)

I had a quick run through these threads and they helped me a lot, but in the end i found it easiest to just go to the HCL and find the best card i could find on there, look like i'll be getting the Netgear WPN311 from Amazon....

Thanks anyway :)
