crammedshelfish
Hello, this is my first stab at getting Mac working on my HP G62 105SA and I'm running into problems. I have tried to boot up the Snow Leopard by Hazard 10.6.2 but when I see the alien screen it says something about not finding the SMBIOS or something like that, it was too fast for me to see properly. The disc is OK because I booted it up on someone else's Medion computer and it worked fine. Can anyone help me getting Mac working on my HP G62 105SA? Here are my system specs: http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/ie/en/ho/WF...09-4099573.html Thanks in advance, Crammedshelfish
crammedshelfish
iATKOS S3 V2 was also a waste of time. It just quickly flashed the Apple logo and rebooted instantly.

crammedshelfish
try install retailif the iatkoss3 v2 restart after boot just type busratio=20 Thanks Mohamed Khairy! I got Snow Hazard working with your fix. It installed well. The only problems I have are: I need the graphics driver for the Intel HD Graphics in my i3 cpu. I'm downloading the Mac Book Pro software update (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1026) which is supposed to install it but I'm not 100% sure about that one. My screen resolution is stuck on 1024x768 even though the resolution on the laptop monitor is 1366x768 and Quartz GL won't start. Neither my Ethernet or WiFi worked, I installed the Atheros Fix and the Realtek R1000 drivers (My Ethernet is Realtek (RTL8101E/RTL8102E) and WiFi is by Atheros (AR9285)) but they didn't work. I would really appreciate your help. I have no clue which audio kext(s) I need to install so audio isn't working. crammedshelfish
I found some drivers for the Intel HD Graphics here: http://extraspeed.blogspot.com/2010/04/app...phic-kexts.html I'm not sure how to install them. I tried using Kext Helper b7 to install the kexts only and it just gives me a kernel panic. I didn't install any of the other .bundle and .plugin files. I know I'm doing something wrong. I'm using iATKOS S3 V2 with the qoopz 10.3 kernel. I installed the Atheros wireless drivers from the iATKOS disc. Mac recognizes it but it doesn't display any wireless networks when it searches.
