slowdiver
hi, i had a perfectly working system (10.4.7, with the new system files) and i thought about buying a cheap x1600 to push the graphics a bit up. so i looked in the wiki, looked under graphics and found this installer for the borisbadenov-method. i thought it would just place the desired ati-kext in system/extensions, so i installed it. problem: i dont have the card by now, i use my gma900. and: gma900 now shows totaly scrambled screen when booting. the installer seems to have altered something on the system besides just coping the ati drivers. someone knows what files to copy back in order to get it working again? the opengl-framework? any hints? cyclonefr
Yep, the OpenGL framework has been replaced by a new one (from 10.4.7 if I remember well, at worse from 10.4.6). It seems you gotta put an old one from 10.4.4 I guess...
